If you are going to owe money as result of your tax filing we can settle your tax debt as well. On cases where taxpayers have received notices, we send IRS a power of attorney so you will never have to speak to IRS and we handle all the correspondence.

From there we go ahead and start the preparation of our tax return process by pulling IRS transcripts and any available records. From there, we submit the tax returns to IRS at the same time work out a remedy or solution if you’re go to owe back tax debt.

It is important for every taxpayer to know that if they are in a position where they haven’t filed back taxes that they start making estimated tax payments or creased or withholding to cover their new IRS tax debt.

RECEIVED AN IRS INTENT TO LEVY? TAKE THESE 3 STEPS - IRS HELP

Out of all the letters you can receive from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) one of the most important is the intent to levy. Finding this letter addressed to you means something has gone very wrong with your taxes. You have gone to long without paying a debt to the IRS, and not communicated a plan or solution to them.

ADVANCE TAX RELIEF LLC
www.advancetaxrelief.com
(800)790-8574
BBB A+ RATED
***Over 10 million in back tax debt settled for our clients.

If the IRS follows through with the levy, you can lose your wages, bank accounts, properties, car, commissions, social security benefits and more. There are a few important things to know before you begin dealing with the intent to levy.

WHAT THE IRS MUST TELL YOU:

First of all, the IRS is required by congress to provide you with written notice of the intent to levy and your rights to appeal the levy going forward. The levy must be delivered personally, left at your home, or your last known address 30 days prior to the IRS taking action. The notice must include an explanation of the reason for the levy, the process, and your options.

These are a few steps to take when you have received an IRS levy:

DO NOT IGNORE THIS NOTICE:

If you take no action, it’s only a matter of time before the IRS begins its enforced collection process. Though we already named some of the assets that can be seized, remember that the levy applies to truly anything the IRS thinks it can use to satisfy the tax balance.
Explore your options

There are two major ways to deal with an IRS Intent to Levy.

INSTALLMENT  AGREEMENT (PAYMENT PLANS)

With this system, you agree to make monthly payments to the IRS until the debt is paid. You will be considered in good standing with the IRS as long as you continue to make the payments. If you enter into this agreement, it will stop penalties from being charged, but you will be responsible for interest on the debt.

OFFER IN COMPROMISE

This option is available to those the IRS deems to be extremely financially burdened. The filing is complicated, but it allows the taxpayer to compromise their tax debt and settle for less than the amount owed. Note that the IRS has strict qualifications for this type of filing.

Seek legal aid

The IRS isn’t perfect, and you may believe that you have been wrongly presented with an intent to levy. If this is the case, call the number provided on the tax levy right away and get more information. Call even if you have begun a payment plan or offer in compromise to verify that your paperwork reflects your actions on the other end. Legal aid can give you a better sense of the repossession process in your home state as well.

COMMUNICATE YOUR PLAN TO THE IRS

Many people lose their money and assets because they don’t realize they can communicate with IRS and work out a payment plan. Be aware that phone calls don’t change official standings with the IRS, and you will need confirmation of a more official nature that you are in good standing with a payment plan. Take advantage of the fact that the IRS has a responsibility to make all your options clear to you, and move towards a solution.

If you’ve received a letter with the intent to levy, don’t ignore it.  Call Advance Tax Relief at 800-790-8574 today or contact us via web www.advancetaxrelief.com to receive a free consultation.

FIND OUT IF YOU CAN LOWER YOUR IRS TAX DEBT - IRS HELP

There’s a couple of ways that you can find out if you can lower the debt you owe to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Call the IRS and ask them if they can reduce your balance.
Have a professional tax relief consultant do it for you.

Decisions, Decisions! Dealing with IRS Tax Debt

ADVANCE TAX RELIEF LLC
www.advancetaxrelief.com
BBB A+ RATED - AS SEEN ON TV

The first option might seem a little ridiculous. However, you’d be surprised at what kind of results you can get by simply picking up the phone and giving the IRS a call. Many people like the notion of communicating with the IRS to visiting the principle’s office.

Talking to an IRS representative doesn’t always mean that you’re in trouble either.

If it makes you feel better, every United States taxpayer has an account with the IRS. Every now and then, the IRS will need to clarify a few things with some accounts—more than others. It’s just the nature of checks and balances on a national scale. Some people will end up owing the IRS a little more money some years depending on how much money they earned the previous year.

It isn’t uncommon that taxpayers aren’t financially able to pay the full balance. That’s why the IRS has implemented the Fresh Start Initiative, a monthly payment plan that makes it less strenuous on a taxpayer’s bank account.

The Fresh Start Initiative

For taxpayers who find that they own a significant amount of tax dollars to the IRS, the Fresh Start Initiative is designed specifically for these kinds of situations.

Through the Fresh Start Initiative, taxpayers in distress can work out a way to pay their tax debt through the following options:
Installment Agreements
Offer in Compromise

The installment agreement is fixed so that you’re able to pay a certain amount to the IRS on a monthly basis within a certain time frame. This solution doesn’t lower the overall debt, but it does make it possible to pay.

In most cases, this is the perfect solution. However, if the amount you owe doesn’t fit into the stipulations of an installment agreement, then filing for an Offer in Compromise might be the next viable option.
Filing for an Offer in Compromise

The Offer in Compromise is a solution that can actually reduce the amount you owe to the IRS for less than half. In order to qualify, you’ll need to apply and stay on top of the proper steps required to file the paperwork. Not everyone has the time or patience to do that. This is where the second choice comes into play.

Hiring A Professional Tax Relief Consultant

Hiring a professional tax relief consultant to assist you in filing for an Offer in Compromise will save you hundreds of dollars and hours! With Advance Tax Relief, your application will be completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Our caseworkers will perpetually follow up with the IRS to ensure that your application is swiftly processed so that you can get a response within the quickest time frame possible. Whether you choose to go with option 1 or option 2, contact the professionals at Advance Tax Relief at 800-790-8574 or ask us a question online today!

TAX RELIEF SERVICES IN GEORGIA THAT WILL GET YOU OUT OF TAX DEBT

Many United States taxpayers may sometimes forget about their obligation to pay their state tax debt. Typically, it’s included in most electronic filing software. For many filers, a refund is allotted to them and therefore, no debt is acquired.

ADVANCE TAX RELIEF LLC
www.advancetaxrelief.com
(800)790-8574
BBB A+ RATED
***Over 10 million in back tax debt settled for our clients.

However, depending on the yearly income accrued the previous year, it is possible to owe the state tax dollars.

Usually, the amount of state taxes owed isn’t that much. However, the amount owed can quickly increase when it’s neglected. Interest and penalty fees can balloon the amount owed into a debt that’s unmanageable. Unfortunately, how some taxpayers deal with such issues is just by ignoring it.
That’s not the solution.

What You Need to Know about Georgia Department of Revenue

The fact is the Georgia Department of Revenue is very much like the Internal Revenue Service…they won’t ignore you! With every passing deadline comes another interest fee and penalty that’s tacked on the new amount from the last accrual of fees. It’s an ever-growing mound of debt that can go on for months until the Georgia Department of Revenue says enough is enough and takes other measures to collect what is owed to them.

Such extreme measures the Georgia State Tax Service can include are wage garnishment, levying your property and/or bank account, and possibly even imprisonment.

To avoid such extremities, you must first face the responsibility of paying the debt. Even if you don’t have the funds to take care of the entire debt right away, The Georgia Department of Revenue will work with you by either negotiating an affordable monthly payment agreement, reviewing an Offer in Compromise or a Request for Penalty Waiver.

Monthly Payment Agreement
If you don’t owe an egregious amount, but it’s substantial enough to prevent you from paying the balance in full right away, the Georgia Department of Revenue offers an installment agreement plan that you can apply for. The stipulations of the plan require that you’d have to pay the full balance within 36 months. In order for you to qualify, you cannot be assigned to a collection agency, you can’t have filed for bankruptcy, and you can’t have already filed for an Offer in Compromise.

Offer in Compromise
An Offer in Compromise is a type of tax settlement that allows you to pay your balance in full for less than half the amount you owe. To determine whether or not you qualify, you’ll need to fill out the following forms:

Form OIC-1
Form CD-14C (This form is needed to claim hardship.)

Request for Penalty Waiver
If you feel that you’ve been wrongly charged with penalties, it is your right to contest it by requesting a penalty waiver. Here is the form you will need to complete:

Form TSD-3
We understand that a lot of this information can be quite overwhelming and difficult to take in all at once. That’s why Advance Tax Relief offers Georgia taxpayers a free consultation with a professional tax consultant to help give you a better understanding of it all.

WHAT HAPPENS TO YOUR TAX DEBT WHEN YOU FILE FOR BANKRUPTCY?

Many taxpayers are under the assumption that if they file for bankruptcy, this will clear them of every single debt they owe.

That’s not exactly true.

Now when you file for bankruptcy, it does temporarily stop the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) from collecting any tax debts. How long they stay away actually depends on what type of tax debt you have and which chapter of bankruptcy you’re filing for. All of this will have a direct affect on how your tax debt situation is handled.

No One Said Bankruptcy Would Be Easy

When it comes to tax matters, there’s really no easy way of explaining how things will work because each case is dealt with on an individual basis according to the taxpayer’s financial situation.

That’s why it’s recommended to get some professional assistance in these matters because, let’s be honest, if you knew how the tax debt system actually worked, chances are you wouldn’t be in the situation you’re currently in. On the other hand, there are some professionals who may know exactly how everything works and still find themselves in a mess of debt due to sheer neglect.

Watch Video Here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uf7o9ZQtuPE

LET OUR EXPERIENCE AND EXPERTISE WORK FOR YOU!

Advance Tax Relief, a tax relief firm with two offices in Houston, Texas and Los Angeles, California, has been in the business of helping people out of the tax debt for over 25 years.

Throughout this time, we have come across a wide range of tax debt cases that have given us the experience and expertise to alleviate any tax issues that you have big or small.

WHEN YOU FILE BANKRUPTCY WHAT COULD HAPPEN?

So let’s talk about what exactly happens to your debt when you file for bankruptcy.

When you file for bankruptcy, an automatic stay is created. An automatic stay is a court order that ceases creditors and even the IRS from taking any action toward collecting debt from you.
Creditors will have to address the court and ask its permission to try and collect from you. So, don’t exhale yet!

But let’s address the real question: Can your tax debt get wiped out if you file for bankruptcy?

The answer is that it depends. Depending on the nature of your case, ALL of your debt can get wiped out and in some cases, only a partial amount will be dismissed. If you didn’t commit fraud, then you have a better chance of wiping all of your debt out. Other factors such as how old the actual debt is will be taken into consideration as well. Typically, if it’s less than a year, then the chances of you having to pay that debt is probable, but here again, all of this is determined on a case-by-case basis.

BANKRUPTCY IS NOT ALWAYS AN EASY WAY OUT - BUT POSSIBLE!

The bottom line is that bankruptcy ought to be your last resort. There is a lot of paperwork involved and there isn’t a guarantee that all of your debt will get cleared. If you do decide to file for bankruptcy, don’t try and do it by yourself.

RECEIVED AN IRS AUDIT LETTER? STEPS YOU SHOULD TAKE IMMEDIATELY

If you are the subject of a tax audit and have recently received a letter from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), you may likely respond like most Americans, with some element of fear and dread.

ADVANCE TAX RELIEF LLC
www.advancetaxrelief.com
(800)790-8574
BBB A+ RATED
***Over 10 million in back tax debt settled for our clients.

The fact is, the audit rate is fairly low (around 1%) if you make below $200,000 a year, but for those Americans who are the subject to an audit, the stress can be very high and you may have questions about what immediate steps you should take to respond. While getting a letter from the IRS is never what you want to find in your mailbox, it does not have to spell disaster.

Watch the Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sqsw3WatWmg

Here are 5 steps to follow if you have received written correspondence from the IRS:

Do not panic: In the vast majority of audits, the IRS has a simple question about an aspect of your tax return. Remember that audits take a lot of resources for the IRS to complete, so it is in their best interest to keep the process and the outcome as simple as possible. In the majority of cases, information needs to be provided and verified. Once you send in the information (or money), the audit is complete. A correspondence audit is the more common type of audit and can be handled entirely in writing.

Verify the audit is real: The IRS will not call you or email you to inform you of an audit, this information will only come in writing, in the mail. The IRS will also not ask you to provide personal information and will not demand that you pay in a certain way. Be on the lookout for fraudulent correspondence claiming that they are the IRS.

Carefully read, review, and respond to the letter: Most audits can be resolved fairly easily as noted above, but the key is to respond as directed by the IRS in a timely manner. Ignoring the request will not make it go away. If you do not understand what is being asked of you, seek the help of a professional tax service or attorney to give you advice about how best to respond.

Keep copies: Once you receive any request from the IRS, keep a clear paper trail so that you can refer back to previous correspondence if necessary. Again, in most audits, correspondence is the only action you will need to take so it is important to keep all records for at least three years.

Gather supporting documentation: If your audit does require an in-person meeting, you will want to prepare carefully and make sure that you gather all pertinent documents. Many individuals elect to have formal audit support in the event of an in person audit.

Professional Audit Support
Advance Tax Relief provides strong audit support to individuals and businesses in Texas and all over the country. Our team can carefully review any correspondence from the IRS that you have received and help you navigate the audit process from start to finish, whether your audit is simple or difficult.

Our team understands that this can be a stressful time and can help take the stress away by responding to the audit quickly and professionally so that you can move forward.

RECEIVED AN IRS AUDIT LETTER? STEPS YOU SHOULD TAKE IMMEDIATELY

ARE YOU GOING THROUGH AN IRS TAX AUDIT? KNOW YOUR RIGHTS OR SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES

Audits. No one said that they would be fun. Let’s be honest, when you’re dealing with money owed—especially funds that you have to account for from the past seven years, did you expect it to be?

There are taxpayers who have issues managing their checks and balances on a monthly basis, so trying to account for every penny that you spent and every cent you earned might make a grown man cry—and it has!

IRS AUDITS ARE NO JOKE!

Audits aren’t anything to play with or cut corners on. It’s something that can take a considerable amount of time—years even, to collect. It’s more than a task; it’s a project, a project that the quality of your life depends on.

That said, tax audits shouldn’t be taken personally. Of course anything dealing with your finances may feel kind of personal, but what you must remember is that Internal Revenue Service (IRS) audits can sometimes be random.

On the other hand, you may have caused attention to yourself through an error made on your annual filing, if you’re claiming too many credits, your dependents are questionable, or if your charitable contributions are… too charitable according to your net income.

Whatever the reason is for getting audited, it is your duty as a United States citizen to know your rights.

GOT AUDITED? WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW!!

First of all, you have a right to contest the claim. Mistakes can be made. Even if you know you have a debt with the IRS and you receive an audit letter, make sure that the claim is legit and correct.

There are many tax scams circulating and we here Advance Tax Relief don’t want you to be a victim. We’ve been in business for over three decades and have seen our share of clients who are trying to repair their debt due to a tax scam.

So it’s important to verify with an official IRS representative that the audit letter you received is real.

Next, make sure that the amount they claim you owe is correct.

Third, just because you owe a tax debt doesn’t mean you get treated poorly.

The IRS makes it their business to make sure that every taxpayer, whether they owe or pay is treated with courtesy and respect. The information you disclose to the IRS will be private. You won’t have to worry about anything getting leaked out onto the Internet either.

Finally, if for some reason you believe that the IRS is incorrect about what you owe them, then you also have the right to appeal. Find out how to request an appeal through the official IRS website.

NEED IRS HELP?

If all this is too overwhelming for you, then let the professionals at Advance Tax Relief handle your audit for you. We have an open door policy that allows our clients to reach us any time of the day, 24/7.

With Advance Tax Relief, you will never find yourself on the phone speaking to a computer. Try us and see at 800-790-8574. You can even use our online contact form!
